9 - Your Dobok

The Dobok

This diagram shows the patch locations and orientations on your dobok. Observe the outlined cues on the drawings of the patches above to ensure that they are correctely positioned before they are sewn on. If they are put on incorrectly, you will have to remove them and re-attach them, so save some time and energy and follow the above diagram carefully.

1. Do jang patch, your right chest, above base of v-neck
2. Ji do kwan patch (Tae Kwon Do), your left chest, above base of v-neck
3. American flag, your left shoulder, centered under seam 1/2 inch down
4. Korean (south) flag, your right shoulder, centered under seam 1/2 inch down note: Three solid bars on flag are up
